German machine-gunner Franz Gockel, WN62, Omaha Beach

This is my cutaway illustration of the eastern improvised pillbox on the German nest "WN62" of 𝙊𝙢𝙖𝙝𝙖 𝘽𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙝; it housed a captured Polish Ckm Wz.30 that was manned by 18-year-old Gefreiter Franz Gockel on D-Day. Full version available for download on my Patreon:
